How to welcome a Howleluyah puppy into your life

Our Puppy Process

1

Complete the Puppy Questionnaire

Start by filling out the Puppy Questionnaire right here on our website.
We’ll review your submission and forward additional information to your email (please check your junk/spam folder, just in case!).

2

Submit the Puppy Application

Next, complete the Puppy Application and return it to us as soon as possible.
This helps us learn more about you, your family, your home, and your work/lifestyle—so we can match you with the puppy that’s best suited to your situation.

Please be honest—there are no wrong answers!
Following your application, you’ll have a phone conversation with Shannon. After that, we’ll send you further information via email.

3

Join the Waitlist

After your chat with Shannon:

1. You’ll receive the Application & Waitlist Agreement.
2. Return the signed agreement and pay the Waitlist Fee (this amount is deducted from the total puppy price).

Once both are received, we’ll:

1. Confirm your place on the Puppy Waitlist
2. Give you an estimated timeframe for when a puppy will be available

4

Puppy Updates

Once the litter has arrived safely, you’ll be invited to join our Private Facebook Group, where you can follow the puppies’ progress and see how they grow.

5

Visit the Pups Day

At around 6 weeks of age, you’ll be invited to Visit the Pups Day at our home. At this time, the Puppy Holding Fee is due (also deducted from the final price).

6

The Big Puppy Reveal

At around 9 weeks old, once temperament and structural assessments are complete, we’ll announce the Puppy Reveal on the Private Facebook group to matched families.

We do our best to honour gender and colour preferences, but the most important goal is to match puppies with families where they’ll thrive.

Your puppy match is based on your application and how each pup’s temperament fits your lifestyle.

7

Puppy Pickup Day

At just over 10 weeks old, it’s time for Puppy Pickup Day! The final balance is due at this time, and then your new adventure together begins.
